While at the school:

  • Students are expected to attend all the lessons they have enrolled for.

  • St. Peter's School is in a historic part of the city. Social activities in the school end at 10.00pm as the school is situated in a small street with residents. If adult students wish to see more of the city’s nightlife, there are pubs and bars within walking distance.

  • Although the school is sympathetic to those with personal problems, St. Peter's does not operate a refund policy. Students are advised to take out personal insurance.

While staying with host families:

  • Please respect your host family by not making too much noise in the evening - they may have their own children or have to get up for work early in the morning.

  • If you cause any damage it is your responsibility to pay for it. Please make sure you have insurance.

  • Night time curfews for younger students must be observed and group leaders have in loco parentis responsibility for children.

  • Students should not help themselves to food unless agreed with the Host Family.

  • Please note : if students are going to be late or absent altogether during meal-times please tell the Host Family as they will start cooking the meal in advance. Meals are typically ready 6.00-6.30pm. The Host Family does not have to cook a later meal if the student is late.

  • Under 16s are expected home by 10.30pm at the latest.

  • If you wish to use the home phone, you will need to ask the permission of the Host Family even if you use a phone card. All bills will be charged to parents or agencies if permission was not sought

The school reserves the right to change teachers at any time during the course.

All courses are based on enrolment numbers.  If we cannot offer your choice of course, we reserve the right to place you into a course at an appropriate level (e.g. Advanced General English to Advanced Exam Courses).
